Ice Industries Deerfield Achieves ISO 14001:2004 Recertification

Recertification, with zero non-compliances, highlights Ice Industries’ continuing environmental commitment.

MASON, OH – June 28, 2016 – Demonstrating Ice Industries’ continuous drive towards manufacturing excellence, Ice Industries Deerfield in Mason, Ohio, announced it had achieved ISO 14001:2004 recertification. The ISO14001:2004 certification demonstrates that Ice Industries Deerfield maintains a commitment to the prevention of pollution, compliance with environmental regulations, and continual improvement of the Environmental Management System. This provides Ice’s customers with assurance that they are partnering with an environmentally responsible supplier.

ISO 14001:2004 defines the criteria for an organization’s environmental management system. It can address a multitude of areas, including:

  • reduction in energy usage;

  • recycling resources ranging from metal to water; and,

  • minimizing pollution of any kind, etc.

As a facility with ISO 14001:2004 certification, Ice Industries Deerfield has established a management system which identifies the operation’s environmental aspects and controls activities with the objective of minimizing the impact on the environment.
