Ice Provides Support to Automotive Supplier Magna
TOLEDO, Ohio – Nov. 15, 2007 – Ice Industries, a leading metal stamping, welding and assembly company, has begun providing manufacturing support to Magna, the most diversified automotive supplier in the world.
Ice has begun production of stamped metal parts for Magna’s Bowling Green Metalforming division from three of its locations. Magna will be supplied primarily from Ice’s Deerfield Manufacturing facility in Mason, Ohio and Grenada Stamping and Assembly in Grenada, Mississippi.
Ice will supply over $4.5 million in parts annually for various automotive platforms as the Tier 2 supplier to Magna. The parts are generally used as part of the full perimeter frames that Magna supplies to its various automotive customers.
