Appointment of Bill Rawlins to Director of Purchasing strengthens Ice Industries' abilities to procure timely, quality, and competitively priced raw materials.
SYLVANIA, Ohio – February 17, 2009 – Ice Industries, an international manufacturer of large format, deep draw, high tonnage metal stampings and welded assemblies, is pleased to announce the promotion of Bill Rawlins to Director of Purchasing. In this position, Mr. Rawlins will be responsible for oversight of all Ice Industries purchasing activities, including steel procurement and coordinating cost savings initiatives amongst all Ice Industries locations.

Mr. Rawlins' promotion is in keeping with Ice Industries' strategy of advancement from within, wherever practical. Mr. Rawlins was hired in 2006 as Production Control / Materials Scheduler for Ice's Acklin Stamping Division, and in 2007 held the position of Corporate Purchasing Liaison.
Mr. Rawlins attended Lourdes College, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration in 2001.
